Now for jailbreaking IOS 5 or IOS 5.0.1 you will need to download the firmware of ios 5 (not ios 5.0.1). To do that just click here..(please first sellect your device then click download)(Download IOS 5 not ios 5.0.1 even if you are on 5.0.1).... OK then fellas!!! that will take about 60 minutes or more because its 900mb or less or more file okay.
(If you are on windows) Then after you have saved the rare .zip file then you don't have to unzip it instead you have to do something else which is converting your rare .zip file into an .ipsw file. To do that click here for a easy guide ......
Then is the time to you download redsnow... to download it click HERE if you are on windows

OK then after you download it...............then relax.........
If you followed my guide perfectly then no problems will occur as I have done this before and do not worry this jailbreak can be easily unjailbroken by my method as follows........
Well then you should connect your iphone or ipod touch ( 4, 3 ,2 or any) Which are on ios 5.0.1 or just ios 5. Then open redsnow and go into extraas and click on ( Select ipsw ) then select you file which you downloaded it in zip then converted in ipsw.........Then it will identified the file and notify you ......You click OK and then go back then click on jailbreak..............At a point you will be asked to put your device on DFU mode so just put it on DFU mode............AND IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS DFU MODE THEN CLICK HERE...................
Put it in DFU mode and U r good to go.....
Then your iphone or ipod will show matrix(white coloured text) on your screen and then give it some time to reboot. Then u are finally untethered jailbroken.
