First speed up your browser


Now-a-days there is a big debate on which is the fastest Internet browser. Many would suggest that Google Chrome is the fastest and it may be. But a real Firefox fan would never leave Firefox for other any browser even if they are fast. One of the Firefox's bad point is it uses to much memory and as the extensions and addons increases this problem is often noticed.

 This ultimately slows the Firefox's performance but there are many tricks which you can use to speed up your Firefox. Here are some of them.

This are some tricks to tweak the configuration setting of Firefox, for this type "about:config" in Firefox's address bar. You will see a message, press the button " I'll careful, I promise"

1) Reduce the RAM reserved for cache feature in firefox.
While surfing Firefox reserves some of the RAM for caching. This can adversely affect other process including Firefox. Using the filter search for " browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewer. The Default value is -1, change it to 0.

2) Increase the page load speed.
  1. Search for "network.http.pipelining" it's default value is "False" change it to " True ".
  2. Search for "network.http.proxy.pipelining" it's default value is "False" change it to " True ".
  3. Search for "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" it's default value is "4" change it to "10".
  4. Now right-click on this window, then select New>integer. A box will appear, in it type "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set it's value to "0".
3) Save RAM while Firefox is minimized.
Right-click on the window, then select New>boolean. A box while appear type in it "config.trim_on_minimize" and then set it's value to "True".

  1. If we want to work properly on our devices, we should speed up our browsers first, because from my experience if it runs slowly, our computers can crush.
    Someone from IT consultancy Toronto told me that CCleaner is necessary for this and we won't have problems with our devices, because it deletes all of those unwanted files.
